【追記 P.S.】誕生日スイーツ birthday sweets

前回の追記になるのだけれども、友達が誕生日ケーキを焼いてくれました！ラズベリーレモンケーキ。彼女はケーキやカップケーキを焼くのにハマっていて、子供たちの誕生日にはかなり凝ったデコレのものを作っちゃったりもするの。スゴすぎ！子供二人もいて忙しいのに感謝〜　バーベキューの夕食まで用意してくれたよ。嬉しかったなぁ〜☆　

旦那くんの誕生日にはケーキの代わりにドーナツを作ってみました。初めてだったので何個か焦がしちゃったけど、初めてにしちゃまあまの出来。改めて揚げ物用に温度計を買わないとなぁーと確信。…夏の揚げ物はやっぱり暑いね〜　エアコンガンガンだったかも…（超悪循環！）＾＾；

It's been a while since actually this happened... but my good friends invited us to their house to celebrate our birthday with BBQ and the yummy cake last month. She loves baking cakes and cupcakes. She made us the raspberry lemon cake from scratch! Thanks, Jen!! I am not sure how she finds time to bake since she has two kids, but she usually make these crazy labor-intensive and beautifully decorated cakes for her kids!

I also made something for my hubby's birthday, but instead of a cake, I fried up some doughnuts for the first time! Uh, I think I should get a thermometer since I burned a few... and while they were delicious, it's not fun frying up something in the middle of summer. I was burning up in the kitchen. Perhaps I will try it again once the weather cools down...

 

なぜか人形用のベビーカーにちゃっかり座りお友達と「赤ちゃんごっこ」して遊んでいたおチビ。普段はあまりベビーカー乗りたがらないのに、なんでこういう時に限って！？も〜天の邪鬼なんだから… でも女の子だから自然とこういう遊びが好きなのかな？？人形じゃなくてスーパーヒーローごっこして遊んでた私には理解不可能…（私の方が問題なのかも知れないけどね）。

It was strange to see Akari playing with the doll-sized stroller with her friend since she usually doesn't like sitting in it. I wonder if she naturally likes this type of toys because she is a girl?! Since I was a kid who didn't play with any typical girl-toys, but boy-toys, I am a little surprised to see her attracted to these type of things... :-/
