明佳梨 Akari

一週間前の4月21日(木)、無事に体重3255グラム、身長54.6センチ元気な女の子が生まれました！比較的ラクだった妊娠とは打って変わり、破水で始まり促進剤などを使うなど難産だったので、折角用意しておいたバースプランなんて関係無しだったお産でした。(涙）

Last Thursday, April 21st, we finally met Akari (7lb 2.6oz and 21.5 in)! In contrast to the relatively easy and textbook pregnancy, I went through a difficult labor which started with water breaking and induced contraction. Of course, the birth plan I prepared was out the window...

bunny gummy ウサギのグミ

Trader Joe'sに買い物に行った際に、こんなグミを発見。フランス産らしく、イースター用みたい。パッケージも可愛く、ジャム入りのグミは甘すぎずおいしかったです。おすすめ♪

出産に備え手伝いに来てくれている母親に出すと、「うさぎは可哀想で食べられない…」と言って孫（ウサギさん）と食べずに自分自身（母は未年）をもぐもぐ（苦笑）

以外ときれいに型抜き（？）されているグミは少なく、殆どが訳の分からない状態だったけどね〜

I found this gummy at Trader Joe's. They are just for Easter and made in France. I like the cute illustration on the package and they were filled with jelly inside. I like them a lot!

I shared them with my mother who is staying with us to help out once the baby arrives. She said she didn't want to eat the bunny (Rabbit) because it was too cute to eat. So she ate herself (Sheep) instead!

Well, most of them didn't come out from the mold well. So they didn't have well defined lines to be able to tell what they were...

まだかなぁ anxious

昨夜の夢は怖かった…　やっと出てきたと思ったら、ウサちゃんの眉毛がマーカーで書いたのごとく濃くって、オッサンみたいな顔してたよ〜 （誰かさんの眉毛に似ていませんように！）

相変わらずウサギさんが出て来る気配がゼロ…　気がつけば18日と同じ23日に出産予定だった２組のカップルは揃って先週の火曜日に無事出産。なんとなく、取り残された気分…　コレばっかりは焦っても仕方ないんだけどね〜　41週目に入っても生まれない場合は促進剤を使用するらしいので、出来ればそればかりだけは避けたいかも。

ウサギさん、誰かに似てのんびり系なのかもね。それもとおばあちゃんが遊びに来るのをまっているのかも。…もしかして卯年でイースターの日に生まれたりして（苦笑）

I had a scary dream last night. After I finally got to see Rabbit, she had these really thick eyebrow as if someone drew with Sharpie! (I wonder where I got that idea from... haha)

Even though this is not a race, 2 couples who were expecting on 18th and 23rd (same as ours) of this month supposedly had their babies on 5th! For no reasons, I feel a little left out. Maybe I am anxious to see how she looks like.

So far, no signs of Rabbit. I was told that they will induce the labor if nothing happens by 41th week. ugh. That's definitely I want to avoid.

Maybe Rabbit has similar personality to Beejay who doesn't rush things. Or she is waiting for the grandma's arrival. Or maybe she will pop out on Easter, living up to her nickname!

最近ビージェイがハマっている(？)のが、人を出しに妊婦用のスーペースに駐車すること。物好き…

Recently Beejay has been taking advantage of these signs... Glad to see he gets some kind of enjoyment from this pregnancy.

すっかり春ですね。

しかし更新に相変わらず波が〜　忙しかったり、後期に入ってやたらと眠かったりといろいろ理由（言い訳？）もあるけれど…元気です。

私的にはもう妊娠生活に飽きているんだけ、ラビットは心地よいのか全然出て来る気配無し。あと残りイヨイヨ２週間を切ったぞ！出来れば予定日までに出てきて〜（焦）

Finally spring is here!

Once again, blog updates have been irregular but I am doing okay. I have been somewhat busy and sleepy lately.

Personally I am done with being pregnant (too heavy and uncomfortable). However Rabbit seems to be too comfortable inside and there is no signs of labor being closer. Only less than 2 weeks until the due date. Please come out by then!
