ワシントンDCの桜 cherry blossom in DC

Finally spring is here!

Once again, blog updates have been irregular but I am doing okay. I have been somewhat busy and sleepy lately.

Personally I am done with being pregnant (too heavy and uncomfortable). However Rabbit seems to be too comfortable inside and there is no signs of labor being closer. Only less than 2 weeks until the due date. Please come out by then!

Since the weather was nice, we went to see cherry blossoms with my parents who were visiting on the first weekend of April. There weren't too many people just yet in Sunday morning. When we arrived there, we saw people running 10K. Being inspired (well they looked like they were having lots of fun!), Beejay declares his participation to the 10K next year...

hmmm... will he do it? He hasn't done even 5K! ... will see...

The flowers seemed a little on pale side comparing to ones I have seen in Japan. I wonder if it has to do with Ph level of the soil? Anyway, we spotted out a couple who were just engaged under the cherry blossoms. People were clapping and cheering for them. How cute! BF must thought of the location really hard... haha

This was the memorial for the WWII. My dad wanted to see the Lincoln memorial initially, but since the pool was under construction, he changed his mind. I was secretly happy that we didn't have to walk all the way there. With my heavy tummy, my feet gets tired really easily lately. I guess my weight is just too much for me to handle now... ugh!
